• What is Adi Vaani?

Adi Vaani (Adi Vaani, meaning “First Voice”) is India’s first artificial intelligence-based translator dedicated to tribal and indigenous languages. It was launched in September 2025 by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

• To preserve and promote tribal languages, many of which are endangered.
